On the road to Hoover Dam!

The Yella maneuvered to the Hoover!!!!

We dipped out on the beautiful Grand Canyon and headed to Vegas to try our luck! But first we had to stop in at a modern marvel of civil engineering,(Ryan's words exactly) the Hoover Dam! The ol' Yella at this point has traveled far and wide, but she was able to crush through all these mountains and get us up to the Dam. We parked our rig and walked over to check out the view on the front side of the dam where we could get a closer look at the structure. It was pretty insane to see how they built this thing. It had several nooks along the way where you can step out and view the dam closer. It was crazy! It looked the old Tampa Typhoon at Adventure Island...made ya wanna slide down just to see, but not really. After walking around the whole Dam and seeing all its glory, we decided we should check out the visitor center and see about a tour. But we were unexpectedly turned off, since it was $30 each. And we really needed that money for Vegas! So we walked around the other side of the dam, checking out the beautiful mountains behind it and the crystal turquoise water that it held. We got back to the Yella, put that baby in drive and I, Lacey Miranda, drove the Yellowstone Cavalier over the Hoover Dam. I gotta say, it was a proud moment! Viva Las Vegas!!!!
