Riding Dirty in Compton to Downtown LA
Today was a day for exploring and venturing out where no RV (intentionally that is) has gone before, the city of Compton. And I gotta say, they are really cleaning up the place. Now I just want to remind everyone that we visited Compton during daylight hours so I can not say for night time, but Compton wasn't that bad of a place. Quite charming actually. And when you got, NWA playing in the background while you're cruising in the Yella, nothing can hold you down. And I just have to leave it at that, because the Witness Protection program won't allow us to speak any further in this matter for a pending case in the State of California District Attorney's office. Nah...We made it out okay, with no shots fired, so we strolled on to the exciting downtown LA.
Only to find, that downtown LA is not really that exciting. The fashion district looks like Chinatown and the business district is where all the bums live. So basically, we just drove right through that place. Took a few snapshots and put it behind us as we escaped to Beverly Hills' Rodeo Drive. Only to find that we could not afford to even breathe on that street so we took a few snapshots and headed to the local mall in the Valley where we could really feel at home. Food courts, hair straightening kiosks and brookstone's. I swear those hair straightening kiosk people are just dying to get there hands on me. So, we hung out there for a lil to stretch our legs and then headed back home to plug in our rig on the beautiful beach.
